Recognizing the responsibility of the local church to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ by ministering to the physical needs of those less fortunate, Grateful Hearts Storehouse opened its doors on December 1, 1998. Starting in 1,900 square feet of warehouse space the ministry has quickly grown. Now operating in 4,500 square feet, the Storehouse, as it is commonly known, distributes thousands of pounds of food and clothing while serving over 2,000 needy people each month. Run mostly by dedicated, caring volunteers, the Storehouse is open six days a week and located just minutes from Cottonwood Christian Center. ![]() On April 1, 2005, Grateful Hearts Thrift Store opened its doors. We began in a 1,500 sq ft storefront filled with new and used clothing, vintage items, electronics, sports equiptment and much more. In July 2005 we added another 1,000 sq ft of showroom space for our growing furniture inventory. Best of all, sales of donated items go towards the purchase of food for our clients and other Grateful Hearts Programs. |
